I remember when Babe and I were pregnant at the same time, me with Terrence and her with Sage. You were about 6 mouths ahead of me and ready to pop. I was getting ready to go through the hot summer heat in misery. I was so envious of you but I knew I had to bide my time with 6 more months. Our little ones were so precious, it is such a wonderful experience to birth a child. You and Art were blessed with 27 years with a marvelous soul and high spirited son whose time was called upon to go home. We are never ready to let go...even when they walk out the door let alone depart this earth. There are so many wonderful loved ones and family members that have passed on before us, and try to find some comfort in knowing that he was met with open arms. I know the pain cuts deep but know that we love you guys and you are in our prayers everyday. Love Kathleen and Family

My Deepest Heartfelt Sympathy goes out to the Evans family on the passing of Sage. I have fond memories of Sage as a joyful and full of life young boy. When he was part of the SGI Boys and Girls Group he and my son Joshua played together and worked together to infuse Buddhism's humanistic spirit into their lives. No doubt he touched many people with that spirit throughout his life. I will continue to chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo for his enlightenment and for his new life, new mission, to come about immediately and without pain. Love and Peace be with your family.

My condolences go out to you with much love and empathy as 10 years ago I too lost my 21year old son unexpectedly. I would luke you to know whenever you might need a friend who just may have an understanding of your loss, please do not hesitaye to reach out to me. Babe you have helped me at several difficult times in my life and I hope you will allow me to do the same for you. When my Markie moved on there suddenly appeared a hummingbird that hung out at my house. This was so comforting as I knew it was the sign I needed. Babe and Art, I did not really know Sage. What I do know is the warmth and depth of his light and love has and is affecting a whole lot of folk. My sincerest condolences to Sage's family and friends. Such a sweet & lively spirit, remarkably humble and gifted in so many ways. I am so grateful to have crossed paths with Huggiebear, grateful for the rad memories created and the skills he eagerly shared. On earth he was great at bringing people together and making them feel welcome in a number of different scenes that he cared deeply about. His passions in life spilled over to the people around him. And he loved sharing his passions with others. Always eager to make new friends and share with, loyal to the ones he had. Helping others to enjoy themselves came naturally to him. Sage is surely an angel now, and I believe he is watching now as his family and friends come together in support. There must be a reason his unique gifts are being called now, into Paradise. It twists me up inside knowing that I lost contact with you over the years only for you to resurface in my life like this, seeing as though you were one of the first people who befriended me back when I first started attending events. You were one of the only people that made me feel safe and accepted in that new realm. That was part of your magic that everybody, not just myself, saw in you -- the ability to make people happy. And the funny thing is noone even had to look for you, just think about Huggiebear and then suddenly you would manifest in a crowd (always found you by the back of your head lol). My condolences to his family. Sage is my best friend. He started out promoting for me and randomly Dj'ing at my events more than 7 years ago. We became friends through punk rock and started going to shows together. Along with Shawn, us 3 have gone to create soo many memories together at shows, traveling, and skateboarding. We had planned to go to Las Vegas on Memorial Day weekend as our 5th time to Punk Rock Bowling. He was so excited for his birthday month because of all the plans we had. Anytime I had ideas on what skate brand we should startup, I always asked for his advice. He became the voice of reason for us 3, and the person who helped teach me how to skate. And now I lost one of my best friends. He will forever be in my heart. I love him so dearly and will greatly miss his presence.
