I am the ISO auditor for PacShip and had the opportunity to meet Billy Ray during several audit visits. What I will remember most about this great man is the tremendous love that he showed for all whose lives he touched. My last visit with him was on 17 March, St. Patrick's Day last year. The priest at my Greek Orthodox church sent me the prayers for St. Patrick via cell phone and Billy and I shared them. I like to think that St. Patrick has a new buddy up there. God bless you, Billy, and thanks for all you did for others. May his memory be forever. -- Ken

I knew Billy Ray from Pac Ship...when I was a kid my Dad worked there and now I work down at Pac Ship from time to time. Billy Ray always greeted me with a smile and a "how ya doin little Ward" we would talk about the Raiders, Chargers and he would always ask about my kids, he was one of the nicest people I have ever known, he always had a smile on his face and I will miss him greatly when I visit Pac Ship. I am so sorry to hear about his passing, my sympathies to his family.

Billy Ray worked with my Dad at PacShip and met me as a little kid. I went and worked there one summer when I was all grown up and he knew exactly who I was. He brought so much energy and laughter to the building, he will be missed. I am saddened by this news, my condolences go out to his family.

I met you back in 1972 and from the onset you were one hard working individual. You always had such great humor and always made me laugh, even when I was having a bad day. You were a true friend who was always willing to help someone out even if you had just met them. You will be missed by many, but you have "gone home" to be with our maker and you have earned that right. Rest In Peace my friend, you will never be forgotten.
