TYNIEKA DANY-L THOMAS Obituary

Tynieka was born on January 28, 1987 to Gregory and Sharon Thomas in Atlanta GA. She was the fourth child and baby girl of six children. At a young age her Great aunt the late Evangelist Jeanette Poole (of Smith Chapel Full Gospel in Atlanta, GA) laid the prayer of Christ on her heart and she never wavered. She loved the lord and from a small child to a young adult Tynieka was a member of Greater St. Paul Church of God in Christ where Bishop Henry Page was the pastor and after his passing Pastor Michael Page of Liberty Temple Worship Center of San Diego was another strong hold of the lord that continued to lay the prayer of Christ in her life. One day we went to visit her grandmother Lucy Graham at Pilgrim Progressive Baptist Church in San Diego where the late Pastor Foxworth gave her the right hand of fellowship and Pastor Donnell Townsend continued the responsibility to hold the prayer of Christ on her heart. She truly loved the lord. She went to school at Black Mountain Middle School in Rancho Penasquitos and graduated from Morse High School in 2005 in San Diego. One year she worked for Sizzlers Restaurant on Imperial Ave. cleaning tables making $30 every 2 weeks while she attended ARC Day Program for independent learning. She also attended Horizon Adult Day Program, where she loved listening to music and socializing with her friends. Ty was known around San Diego she was very outgoing. She enjoyed concerts watching football and baseball fames especially the parades. She enjoyed poing to the Teen club yea she was the adult for her little brother TiRas who needed an adult to be in the car since he was a young driver, she was the critic of music for her brother Emmanuel if she didn’t clap or try to sing it wasn’t good, she had her in-house errand boy brother Nijael, she would ask for a “dolla” to give to him to go buy her some grandma cookies and himself a Butterfinger and he would break it in half and share with little brother TiRas. Ty would steal math books and her and her brother Dezmond would lay on the floor reviewing it and making beats smaking on the floor while he was rapping to it, and of course like any teenager mom can’t dress them nor do their hair right. So big sister Tiffaney came to the rescue with big shirts jackets jerseys you name it they thought it was fly. I said what in the world she got on! Ty was happy.
