SHANDA PATRICE SIMMONS

Shanda Patrice Simmons was born on December 21, 1962 as the youngest daughter
of Ivory M. and Betty Simmons in Indianapolis, IN.  She was preceded in death by her
Parents and Sister, Lockie Simmons.
Shanda was a Broad Ripple High School Rocket and went on to further her education
at Indiana University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Political Science.

In the 1990s, Shanda visited San Diego, California and fell in love with the Pacific
Ocean and the warm climate.  For over 25 years, she enjoyed working in the world
of financial investments.  Before her death, Shanda enjoyed working with her colleagues at Reilly Financial
Advisors in San Diego.

On October 13, 2023, Shanda departed this life at the age of 60.
The scattering of Shanda’s ashes into the Pacific Ocean occurred on November 25, 2023.

She is survived by; her siblings, Keith Simmons, Jade
Simmons and Jason Simmons, stepmother Palma Simmons, along with Aunt Lacy
Deloris "Sue" Bryant, other family members, Joycelyn Davis, Tony Allen, Justin Davis,
Kathy Jones, Sherri Sawyer and her California friends and colleagues.  
We continue to miss you and our love is forever!
