MAREE VESTEEN BRADLEY

Maree Vesteen Bradley born Maree Vesteen King oldest of 5
was born November 11, 1938 in El Dorado, Arkansas. Born to her
loving parents Virgie Gaines and John King.
In 1948 Virgie King relocated herself and 5 kids to
Bakersfield, CA. There Maree graduated from Bakersfiled high
school class of 57. She then gave birth to her son Eddie Leon Bell
born Oct. 2 1957 and her daughter Denese Bell born Jun. 6. 1959.
Maree relocated to San Diego, CA in 1965 and ended
up Marrying Richard Bradley in 1971. Her and Richard then
purchased a home in Mira Mesa in 1972 and there she resided
for the rest of her time in San Diego. Maree started working for
the Naval hospital in 1975 and continued to work there for 25
years and then went to work for the County of San Diego for 10
years and that was the job she retired from to take care of her two
granddaughters Chinue & Karimah Perdue after her daughters
passing. She has also been a member of Mt Erie Baptist church
since 1984.
Her Passion and enjoyment was shopping for herself,
children, and grandchildren, following with a trip to Barona every
now and then. She always had a giving heart for all .
Maree was preceeded in death by her kids Eddie, and
Denese, granddaughter Sabrina, brothers Joe and Jacob, and
parents Virgie and John.
On Wednesday May 19, 2021 at 6:30 pm at the age of 82
the trumpets blew the angels rejoiced as the heavens opened up a
chariot descended and Maree Vesteen Bradley boarded to glory.
She leaves to forever to cherish her memory her brother
Johnny, sister Helen, granddaughters Chinue, Karimah, Saphron,
Samantha, Zipporah, grandsons Lil Lee and Shawn, 12 great
grand kids, Nieces and Nephews and other family and friends.

A walk-thru viewing will be held on Friday, June 11th at Anderson-Ragsdale Mortuary from 5pm-7pm.

A service on Saturday is by invitation of the family but will be livestreamed via the link below at 11am.
