LAQUITA LINNETTE STEWARD Obituary

LaQuita Linette Steward born on March 4, 1967, and passed away on February 7, 2024. She cherished her marriage of 28 years to her love, Danny Steward Sr. She was loving, supportive, forgiving, caring, and faithful. LaQuita was always reaching out to people and spreading her love and she was a shoulder to lean on for many who were in need and would always find a way to brighten everyone's day.

LaQuita loved children and was a pillar of strength to all who came into her life. She enjoyed crafting and extended her skills to all who asked for them. From immediate family, distant family, church members, friends of friends, friends of her children, she will truly be missed but will forever be remembered in our hearts.

LaQuita faithfully attended 47th St. Church of God and valued her relationship with God. There she served as a youth leader, worked in all ministries, and a member of the women's group. She supported the church and loved and supported her husband, Danny Steward Sr., in his ministry.

She was preceded by her mom, Archie Mae Cloude, and brother, Derek Baldwin. She is survived by her husband Danny Steward Sr.; Parents Joseph A. Benjamin Sr. and Norma Benjamin; siblings Joseph A. Benjamin Jr, Darryl J. Benjamin, Susan Benjamin, Althea Benjamin and Tony Benjamin; her four sons Danny II, John, Bradley, and Derek Steward; her daughter Jessica Wise, and Shalamar Arnold; grandchildren Kaleal Peyton, Jaiden Wise-Graham, Jamari Arnold, and Leilah Corley; Goddaughter Toniel Fleming.

Thank you LaQuita, wife, daughter, mom, sister, and forever friend for the light and love you shared with so many.

For to His angels He's given a command,
To guard you in all of your ways,
Upon their hands they will bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.

And He will raise you up on eagle's wings,
Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun,
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.
