Judy Marie Joseph Obituary

JUDY MARIE JOSEPH was born July 24th, 1963 to proud and loving parents, George and Irma Joseph in Lake Charles, LA, where she spent her formative years. In 1975, along with her mother and siblings, Judy moved to San Diego, CA, where she received her education

Her most precious joy was her two sons, Darryl and Terrance.

Judy gave of herself and devoted most of her life to other people working as a Home Care Provider in the medical field. She was very hard working and dedicated in providing and making her family proud of her independence and growth. Judy was a social butterfly and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was affectionally known as “Ju Ju” to those who knew her best, whom I’m sure am now hearing her say, “Holla Boo-Boo”.

Judy believed in God and accepted Him as her Lord and Savior, which gave her the tools to be the loving, giving and blessing to others.

On Thursday May 21st 2020, Judy was called from her earthy labor to eternal rest. She was a loving mother of two sons, Darryl Brown and Terrance Brown both of San Diego, CA; blessed with three grandsons: Terrance Jr., twins Dezmond and Josiah Brown; the grandchildren’s mother, Jessie, all of Kansas City, MO. She was also blessed with a granddaughter, Saj’haunna Brown to Mother Robin. Judy also leaves to cherish her memories her father and stepmother, George and Veronica Faye Joseph of Lake Charles LA; sister, Cynthia Jordan (husband, Ivan) of Kansas City, MO; brothers, Michael Joseph (Wife, Faiga) of Seattle, WA, Jeremy Joseph of Bay City, TX, Gabriel Joseph (Wife, Desire), Brice Joseph and Justin Joseph (Wife, Kabrina) all of Lake Charles, LA. In her life, she was blessed with three more sisters: Connie Meyers of San Diego, CA, Nailah Anderson Anifowsha of Houston, TX and Hameda Anderson of San Diego, CA; and another brother, Ziyad Anderson of Tyler, TX. Her memory will also live on through her aunts, uncles, a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces, friends and other relatives who cared for her deeply.  She is now in the hands of her Heavenly Father with her mother who is there to guide and protect her.
