JEANNIE ANN COLUMBUS

Jeannie Ann Columbus was born on Sunday, November 19, 1950 to Reverend Thomas and Annie Bell Columbus in San Diego. As a youth she attended the local school's, Logan Elementary and Memorial Jr. High, ultimately graduating from San Diego High School with the class of 1969.  Jean chose to further her eductation and attended the Fresno Pacific University in Fresno, California as well as Paul Quinn College (Formerly Bishop College) in Dallas, Texas. Jean later enlisted and served proudly in the United States Army for a three year term, after being Honorably discharged from duty she began a career utilizing her skills at the Veteran's Hospital of Long Beach as well as the Veteran's Hospital of La Jolla until her retirement after thirty-five years of dedicated service to the Federal government. On Wednesday, April 05, 2023 Ms. Columbus departed this life in El Cajon, California. She was the last of her family lineage yet leaves behind a lasting legacy of service unto her country.
