Mr. Ewell Coleman departed this Earth and transitioned to his Heavenly home on August 29th
2022. Ewell was ushered into the presence of the King with his wife by his side in the place he
loved.
He was born in Kansas City, Missouri; the son of the Ewell and Ethel Coleman.
He attended church at a young age, sang in the choir, attended children’s church as well as Adolescent Church
at 3rd Street Church of God. His testimony has always been that it was the prayers of Evang. Hayden whom faithfully
prayed in the church’s basement for God's continuous protection that brought him through.
Ewell enlisted into the United States Marine Corps in 1975 and served in artillery where he was a
combat marksmanship coach and received many accreditations. After leaving the military he
enrolled in Machinist school where he excelled and became an aircraft mechanic and worked at
General Dynamic’s where he built space shuttle doors and various other airplane parts.
While laboring there he met Darlene and they later married in 1990 and recently celebrated
34 years of marriage. This Union of love blended their children Craig, Eboni, Rhonna, Christopher
and Tiffanni and later produced two additional blessings, sons Joshua and Caleb.
Ewell was very athletic. He loved basketball and football which he played very well. Summers were
filled with family trips, creating memories at amusement parks, swimming, road trips, playing
basketball with his sons, teaching the children to drive, and how to repair and maintain their first vehicles.
In 1997 God had a change of plan for him and his family that moved him to Washington State with
total favor. He was transferred to the Boeing Company were he completed his aircraft career and
retired.
Preceding him in death was: his Father, Ewell C Coleman, his bonus
Father Reverend James Green, and two loving bonus sisters; Linda Lucas and Deborah Alto.
Ewell is survived by his wife Darlene Coleman, Children; Craig Ingram,
Christopher Coleman (Nancy), Joshua Coleman, Caleb Coleman, Eboni Sanders (Cory), Rhonna Harris (Kamone) and
