EMERALD EBONY McMULLEN

Emerald Ebony McMullen, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, was born on July 21, 1994, in San Diego, CA, to the proud parents Anthony C McMullen and Jeanette Jefferson. 

Emerald's journey in education led her to graduate from Lincoln High School in San Diego, CA, and she continued her pursuit of knowledge by embarking on a path to become a Registered Nurse. Her dedication and passion for nursing were evident in her pursuit of a degree in the field. 

Beyond her professional aspirations, Emerald found joy in various hobbies. Cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with her son were among her favorite pastimes. She was a devoted Team Mom, supporting her son's football team under the Friday Night Lights. 

Emerald's memory will forever be cherished by her beloved son, Ariyon D. Buggs of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by her loving parents, Anthony C. McMullen, Step-Mother, LaShawn McMullen and Jeanette Jefferson all of San Diego, CA. 

Her siblings, Sharon D. McMullen of Alexandria, LA, Cedric Boggs of Dixon, CA, LaQuita Boggs of Vallejo, CA, and Chavellia C. McMullen of San Diego, CA, will forever hold her in their hearts. Additionally, she leaves behind her aunts, Antoinette L. McMullen and Shelia Smith, both of San Diego, CA, her uncle, Derrick L. Moore, Sr. of San Diego, CA, and her grandfather, Clyde McMullen, Jr. of San Diego, CA. Her nephew, Malachi McMullen of Alexandria, LA, her God-Daughter, Mynami Conley-Martin, and her God- mother, Monigue Weaver-Conley, will always remember her with love. 

Emerald is preceded in death by her grandmother, Louise McMullen, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms in Heaven. 

Emerald's vibrant spirit, love, and presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
