Eloise “Lisa- Weezie” Inez Morgan, 71,
gained her wings on Oct 19, 2024. Born
Jan 25, 1953 in San Diego, CA to
Thomas E Baker Sr and Catherine A.
Allen, Lisa was a life long California
native. Known for her striking good
looks with a beautiful smile and
gorgeous bright eyes and huge
personality she graduated from San
Diego HS in 1971. With her love for
music and dance, Lisa was a majorette
on the drill team for two years. After high
school Lisa attended Mesa College and
then went on to become the highest
paid registered dental assistant in the
area due to her multiple skills in
dentistry. In her spare time she also
worked with her father and brothers in
the family real estate and investment
business. Shortly after, she met Frank
A. Morgan through a mutual friend. They
married on April 23, 1982. Frank and
Lisa shared a special relationship that
lasted in over 40+ years of marriage.
Lisa was affectionately known to Frank
as “Weezie”(personalizing several
license plates with her name) and she
called him her “Frankie or Viejo”. Frank
and Lisa have two daughters - a
daughter from Frank’s previous
marriage, Galon, who Weezie called “
cookie legs” and after years of trying to
conceive Lisa and Frank were blessed
with their daughter Magdalena C.
Morgan in 1986, who was very special
to them both. Lisa often calling her
“baby girl”. In Frank’s military career
they briefly moved to Orange TX; where,
Lisa was embarking on starting her own
educational and daycare program for
children. Unfortunately, due to her
sudden illness that dream was short
lived and Lisa soon returned back to
San Diego. Lisa loved her family and
she was so happy and excited to be a
grandmother (Grammie, Mimi). Before
her illness she spent a lot of time with
her siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Occasionally camping together at the
Native American reservations, in
addition to attending many family
gatherings, and parties at her parents
home. She also enjoyed woodworking
with her father, Thomas E. Baker Sr.,
playing guitar and piano. She loved
music and growing her roses. Lisa was
very adventurous and loved outdoors.
She went fishing and boating with her
husband, daughters, and friends. She
was known for her witty sense of humor,
always smiling and telling the best jokes
and stories. She was a loving and
dedicated mom, wife, sister, aunt,
grandmother, and friend. Always
teaching her daughters, nieces, and
nephews the necessary skills in life. She
was always willing to help even if her
body would not allow it. Lisa attended
church regularly and was a member of
St. Rita’s Catholic Church. And taught
classes in her younger years. She is
