CAROL RABOTEAU Obituary

CAROL RABOTEAU

Loving, Caring, Compassionate, Strong, Understanding, kind, Classy, Intelligent, these are all
words that describe Carol... Carol Carniel Curry was born May 18, 1939 to Aloysius Curry and
Clara Faircontue in Bay St. Louis Mississippi. At an early age Carol had already established a close
relationship with God. She told that everyday she would wake up early and walk to Church by herself,
she would walk through a canyon and many trails just to get there, she said she was never afraid
because she knew the Lord would protect her.
Carol was raised in Bay St Louis with her siblings, Vivian, Ruby and Grenelle. She was very fond of her
childhood in Mississippi and would tell many loving and funny stories from her youth. She continued
to grow close to God and her family, then she met Vincent Raboteau. Carol and Vincent were joined
together in Marriage and had three children, Kevin, Rosalyn and Cedric. Love was always at the
forefront... Everyday she would shower her children with love, “I love you” was repeated daily almost
hourly.
Her love and care was very evident. Not only did she say “I love you” she showed it everyday with
caring for their every necessity no matter how small. Her love continued into her Grandchildren;
D'Arcy, L'Amar, Razhae, Janken, Twaniesha and Breanna, followed by, Thirteen Great Grandchildren:
Deziray, Je'shua, L'amar, Iyanna, Jaylen, Zemoni, Delonzo, Elijah, Ziyre, Charzell, Beautiful, Darrell
and Ella. all of which shared in the love from Grandma Carol.
After moving to San Diego Carol started working in the Aerospace Industry where she met Carl
Robinson and they formed a loving relationship. Carol was a hard worker and worked for 45years
before retiring. She was ahead of her time in fashion, style and class. She could do it all, but her
love for God was number one. She studied her Bible and read from the Scriptures daily, she would
continually share her love for God with whomever she came in contact with. She would say; Jesus,
Jesus, Jesus is all I need, nothing but Jesus! Her favorite Scripture was Philippians 4:13 “I can do all
things through Christ which strengtheneth me” and Psalm 23 “The Lord is my shephard; I shall not
want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth
my soul; he leadeth in the path of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea though I walk through the
valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they
comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my
head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the
days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”
Carol's love touched many people throughout her life, she will truly be
missed. She leaves behind her children, family and a host of friends....
Forever in the Hand of God - Carol Raboteau – “Momma-boo”
