CURTIS TAYLOR WEST

Curtis West, a devoted father and loving husband, passed away on 09/21/2023 at the age of 57. He leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience that will forever be cherished by his family and friends. 

Curtis is survived by his mother Christine Smith, beloved daughter, Christina West, and his cherished wife, Mari Cruz West. He is also survived by his 9 brothers and sisters (James, Jamie, Christopher, Janice, Kevin, Tracee, Leland, Brigeta and Torazzi). His family was the cornerstone of his life and he dedicated himself to their happiness and well-being.

Curtis faced his share of challenges throughout his life and despite these struggles, his unwavering determination to overcome them showed the depth of his character and the love he had for his family. He fought tirelessly to provide a better life for Christina and Mari Cruz.

Curtis was known for his warm heart, his infectious laughter, his love of music, and his ability to find joy in the simplest of moments.  He had a unique way of brightening up a room with his presence and making everyone feel welcome. His family and friends will always remember him for all of these special qualities.

In this time of grief, we remember not only the challenges Curtis faced but also the love he gave and the strength he showed in the face of adversity.  He may have had his struggles, but his devotion to his family was unwavering. Curtis will be deeply missed and forever loved.  May he rest in peace, One Love, One West family.
