Leo Hall, affectionately known as “Teedy”, was born on March 18, 1935, in Waco, Texas to Leewood and Emily Hall. He was the second of their three children, Penny and Larry.
In 1953, Leo graduated from Moore High School. He enlisted in the Navy in 1954.
In 1955, Leo married Annie Neal. They were married twenty-two years until Annie’s passing. Three children, Jacquelyn “Judy”, Reginald, and Stephanie were born during their union.
Leo completed several tours of Vietnam as a First-Class Petty Officer and was promoted to a Chief Petty Officer in 1965. He was transferred to San Diego, which he referred to as God’s country, in 1971. He retired from the Navy in 1974.
Shortly after his retirement, he obtained his real estate license and began a second career as a real estate agent. He bought and sold several homes in the San Diego area. He later opened and operated a boarding care facility where he was a caring mentor and friend to the residents.
In the early 1980’s, Leo joined the Mason brotherhood, he was a Master Mason. In 1998, Leo married Tommie Kelley and inherited two additional children, Carl and Tara.
On April 12, 2021, Leo was called home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leewood and Emily, his sister, Penny, and his son, Reginald.
Leo leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Tommie, his daughters, Jacquelyn of Los Angeles, Stephanie of San Diego, and stepdaughter Tara of Atlanta, stepson, Carl of Oklahoma, son-in-law, Paul of Los Angeles, bother, Larry and siter-in-law, Patricia of San Francisco, grandchildren, Angel and Tommy, nieces, Debbie, Amanda, and Jenna, nephews, Larry Jr. and Jasonte, and a host of beloved cousins and friends.
A walk-through viewing is Monday, May 10th at Anderson-Ragsdale Mortuary from 5pm-7pm.
A service on Tuesday is by invitation of the family (Due to limited number of people under COVID mandates).
Burial will follow at Miramar National Cemetery at 1pm (limit of 35 family members).
