BOBBY GREER JR

Robert Greer Jr. AKA Bobby, was born in San Diego, California on February 4, 1954 to Robert Greer Sr. and Gertha Lee Yarbrough, Bobby was raised by his maternal grandmother Lucy Kidd Greer, and spent most of his time caring for her as well as helping out with his cousins.

Bobby graduated high school from Lincoln High and started working odd jobs to help his grandmother out. Bobby was conscientious about everything he did whether it was a job or Dj gig or his appearance. Bobby had a short stent in the Navy after that time he started working for the City of San Diego where he worked most of his life, until suffering a severe injury which in turn caused him to leave his city job.

Bobby was always a workaholic and instead of retirement decided to work for the city schools, which he worked for several years. After retiring from the school system Bobby decided to work part time for Pechanga Arean where he worked until the time of his death April 15, 2022.

Bobby will be remembered as someone who loved God, he loved life he loved to dance and laugh and he loved his music. He also loved his family.  Bobby will be missed and never forgotten for all that he gave the world, he was and is loved.

Bobby is Survived by his children, cousins, and host of friends.
