Maria was born on February 27, 1928 to Jose and Regina Cardenas. She was a homemaker, enjoyed outdoors, plants and working in her yard. Maria will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and also devotion to her prayer groups. She was a loving mother and will be missed dearly.
Maria is preceded in death by her husband, Luis Jimenez.
Maria is survived by her five daughters, Zulema (Rolando)Torres, Oralia (Carlos) Contreras, Maria “Sheila” LaGarde (Jerry), Janie LaGarde, Lupe (Jesus) Rubio; two sons, Joe LaGarde (Julia), Carlos (Hilda) LaGarde; two grandsons, Edward and Augustine raised by her; 17 grandchildren, numerous great -grandchildren and great- great- grandchildren. A graveside will be held on Saturday, Nov.28th, 10AM at Holy Cross Cemetery in Los Angeles (Culver City).
