Le’Rance William Finks was born on July 18, 1976 at the Naval Hospital San Diego to Sone-Seere’ Aloha Wilson and Wallace William Finks. His formative years were spent in Norfolk, Virginia; Silver Spring, Maryland; and San Diego, California as he traveled globally with his military parents.

Childhood hobbies included T-Ball, basketball, baseball, sailing, bowling, fishing, swimming, skiing, and boogie boarding. His passion, however, was rap music and he aspired to produce music videos in that genre.

Le’Rance graduated from Morse High School (San Diego) in 1994 and matriculated at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts in the Communications Division of Mass Media Arts/Radio-TV-Film in 1998.

His passion remained music video productions so he successfully completed The New York Film Academy’s Eight Week filmmaking Workshop in 2005 and became self-employed as DB ProEdit. He was involved in music video production locally and throughout Europe at one time.  His most recent endeavor was DBS Consulting Firm, LLC wherein his goal was to advise, guide and produce young rap artists.
